By creating an account or using Receiptify, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms apply to all users of Receiptify.

Receiptify is intended for users who are 16 years of age or older.

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and current.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their authorization.

Receiptify is a receipt management and organization service.

The Service allows you to upload receipt images, have information from those receipts extracted using automated and AI-powered processing, review and edit the extracted information, and save the resulting information to your account.

Depending on your plan, Receiptify may also provide features such as:

• Receipt search and filtering
• Receipt categorization
• Summaries and analytics
• Multi-currency display
• CSV export
• Other features introduced from time to time

Receiptify is a software and organization tool. It is not an accounting, tax, legal, financial, or professional advisory service.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Not share your account with unauthorized users
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
• Not use another person's account without authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.

Receiptify may use a credit-based system for certain features.

Each receipt scan consumes exactly one credit. Failed scans where the AI provider could not be reached do not consume credits.

Free accounts may receive a limited number of credits each month.

Paid plans may include additional credits or higher usage limits.

Credits are intended for use within Receiptify and have no cash value. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, unused credits do not accumulate indefinitely, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Usage limits and credit amounts may vary depending on the plan you have selected.

We may introduce reasonable limits designed to prevent abuse or excessive automated usage of the Service.

Paid Receiptify plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis.

Payments are processed by Paddle, our payment service provider.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize the applicable recurring charges until you cancel your subscription.

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Pricing page.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and you may continue to use paid features until that period ends.

Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or explicitly provided by Receiptify.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices or plan features from time to time.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable notice before a price change affects your existing subscription.

Receiptify uses automated and AI-powered systems to extract information from uploaded receipts.

AI-generated extraction may occasionally contain errors, missing information, incorrect classifications, or other inaccuracies.

You are responsible for reviewing the information extracted from your receipts and correcting it where necessary before relying on it.

Receiptify does not guarantee that extracted information will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Receiptify should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.

You retain ownership of the receipt information and other content that you submit to Receiptify.

You grant Receiptify a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and operate the Service.

This permission does not give Receiptify ownership of your receipt data.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and process any content you submit to Receiptify.

You should not upload content that you are not authorized to use or that violates applicable law.

Receiptify relies on third-party service providers to provide certain features, including payment processing, authentication, currency information, hosting, and AI-powered receipt processing.

Your use of Receiptify may therefore involve the processing of information by these third parties.

Third-party services are subject to their own terms and policies. Receiptify is not responsible for services or policies controlled by independent third-party providers.

You agree not to:

• Use Receiptify for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Receiptify accounts, systems, or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Circumvent usage limits or credit restrictions
• Attempt to access or use another user's data without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except where permitted by applicable law
• Use automated methods to abuse or overload the Service
• Upload malicious software or content intended to compromise the Service
• Use the Service to violate the rights of another person

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe the Service is being abused or these Terms are being violated.

Receiptify is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee that Receiptify will:

• Always be available
• Be uninterrupted
• Be completely error-free
• Be free from security vulnerabilities
• Always preserve every feature
• Produce completely accurate receipt extraction results

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or parts of the Service from time to time.

Where reasonably practical, we may provide notice of significant changes or interruptions.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate copies of any information that is important to you.

Although we take reasonable measures to protect stored data, we cannot guarantee that data will never be lost, corrupted, unavailable, or affected by technical failures.

Receiptify should not be treated as your sole backup system for important financial or business records.

The Receiptify software, website, design, branding, logos, interfaces, and other materials provided by Receiptify are owned by or licensed to Receiptify and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Receiptify's software, branding, or other proprietary materials.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Receiptify's intellectual property to you.

You may stop using Receiptify at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You materially violate these Terms
• You use the Service unlawfully
• You abuse or attempt to circumvent the Service
• Your use creates a security risk
• We are required to do so by law
• Continued provision of the Service becomes impractical or impossible

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may provide notice before terminating an account.

If your account is terminated, your right to access the Service will end.

Account termination does not affect provisions of these Terms that are intended to survive termination.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Receiptify and its operators, employees, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

This may include loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, or other indirect losses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights.

This section does not apply to the extent that the applicable claim results from Receiptify's own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be transferred to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Receiptify and its operator, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the rights available to you in your place of residence.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

Your continued use of Receiptify after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
